Welcome to my guide to some my favorite Destin Eats. I’ve been going to Destin for over 30 years and these recommendations are on my must eat list any time I’m in the Destin area.
Bad Ass Coffee
Love starting my beach days off with a fresh cup of Bad Ass Coffee. This pet friendly coffee cafe offers a variety of lattes and smoothies. The outside deck is perfect for people watching.
Donut Hole
If you are a breakfast person, you have to eat at the Donut Hole. Besides donuts and pastries, the omelettes and pancakes are fantastic. I promise you won’t leave hungry.
Pompano Joe’s
This beach snack shack is one of my favorites. We usually visit Pompano Joe’s multiple times while we are in the area. There are a variety of seafood and non-seafood items on their lunch and dinner menu. Get a bucket of their rum punch if you are feeling brave. I also highly recommend the tuna dip.
The Back Porch
Another Destin tradition is The Back Porch. A favorite of locals and visitors, the beach front views can not be beat. The seafood options are amazing and service has always been great.
Louis Louis
One of my new favorites is Louis Louis. This family run restaurant has a funky and fun vibe. The owner can generally be found checking on patrons and making sure everything meets their expectations. This has made my list of must eats when I’m in the Destin area. Get the crab cakes…They are the best.
